The Royal Foundation of St. Katharine is truly an oasis in the heart of London. It's a rare gem offering peace and serenity amidst the bustle of the city. The beautiful garden and the profound silence make it feel like a hidden retreat—something you wouldn't expect to find in London. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms are cozy, and the beds are wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Although I didn’t try the breakfast, the delicious aroma of freshly toasted bread greeted me every morning, which was a lovely touch. The location is slightly outside the city center, but it’s well-connected by buses just around the corner, making it easy to get wherever you need to go. My favorite spaces were the lounge and the garden. I spent several evenings in the lounge, doing some art, and it was so peaceful that it felt almost surreal. If you’re looking for a tranquil place to unwind, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a haven of calm in the middle of a vibrant city.

The Venue was close to our concert venue, was very reasonably priced for the area/location, room was clean and comfortable, bathroom a little dated but not an issue, breakfast was a little disappointing as it was only continental option but had a good verity of pastries and breads and also offered Gluten free option which was nice to see, the venue was lovely and staff were very helpful, the chapel on the grounds was beautiful at night very peaceful, I am not religious but it is a lovely space for quiet contemplation if you need it during your stay, Also to add they do ring the bell at 8am in the chapel just to make you aware but it did not bother me as I was already awake but if this would bother you then I would advise against staying here, please be respectful if you do stay and be mindful of the setting that you are in, this isn't somewhere to stay if you've been out partying and you are going to be loud, but if you enjoy a little peace in a busy city then this is a good option, I would definitely stay again.

I stayed for 3 nights in a two bedroom (apartment) type. There is a kitchen where you can prepare simple meals, and the bathroom has great hot water. The accommodation is clean, and the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, making it perfect for relieving fatigue. Breakfast is simple but has everything you need, and the food is replenished quickly, so there is no inconvenience at all. The staff is friendly. Although the accommodation is located in London's Zone 2, it is very close to the subway and bus stops, so there was no problem at all in exploring various parts of London.

We had a two bedroom flat which was ideal as a base for our weekend in London. The flat was warm, clean & comfortable, with a handy kitchenette/ dining/ seating area, and only a very short walk to Limehouse Station/ local shops/ pub & restaurants. We enjoyed the continental breakfast; which ranged from cereals, toast and pastries to cold meats, eggs and fruit (with gluten free options and non dairy milk available, if required). The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful.

I stayed in a twin room with my teenage daughter for 1 night as we were going to see Kylie at the O2. It was placed perfectly near to the Limehouse DLR, which made getting around London really easy. We had a garden view room and it was a very peaceful, lovely setting. The breakfast was very nice, good selection of sweet and savoury offerings. The beds were super comfy and great tea and coffee facilities.
